Jarod Wells is a native of the Cleveland, Ohio area. He attended North Royalton High School in the suburb of North Royalton. There he was introduced to the broadcast journalism field, reading his school's morning announcements on camera. After that class, he knew he wanted to be part of the television field. After high school he attended Bowling Green State University. Jarod graduated in May 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Philosophy. He joined the KHQA team in August 2008 as a Reporter/Producer.
