Jim Whitfield is a News Reporter for KHQA. A Quincy native, he graduated from Quincy High School and Illinois State University. Jim has been involved with several award-winning news stories during his 13 years in the television news business. He also served as the Media Production Instructor/Television and Audiovisual Equipment Director for the Quincy Public School District.
In his spare time, Jim is a Cub Scout leader, volunteer basketball coach at the Quincy YMCA and is involved with his church. Jim is married and has two sons.
