Canton Press Release -21 year old Dermane D. Lloyd was arrested in Canton, Missouri on Wednesday June 14, 2012 after a short foot pursuit. Officers made contact with Lloyd at the Casey's General Store in attempt to arrest Lloyd on a Lewis County warrant for two class A felony counts of distributing controlled substance near schools. Lloyd was transported to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment for minor injuries suffered during the foot pursuit. An Officer suffered minor injuries and was treated and released on scene. Lloyd was then taken to the Lewis County Jail in lieu of a $100,000 cash only bond. Lloyd has also been charged with felony resisting arrest. The Missouri State Highway Patrol and Lewis County Sheriff's Office assisted with the arrest.Chief Hayes Shelley
