Fine Arts Showcase Bethel Church will be hosting the Fine Arts Showcase, a set of performances from youth of all ages on August 5th at 6 p.m. Afterward, an ice cream social will take place. The event is located at 12th and Jefferson and is open to all. The Fine Arts competition is a national competition which is used to “help students discover, develop, and deploy their ministry gifts.” The acts include singing, preaching, drama, human video, a puppet show, and more. These twelve students competed at the state level and have advanced to the national competition, which will take place this August. In order to advance, the students had to receive a 36 out of 40 overall score from the judges. Many of the performers took the highest score at state level.
