18th Annual Gardener's Palette

Come join us once again for the 18th annual Gardeners Palette sponsored by University of Illinois Extension Unit 14, Adams County Master Gardeners, and John Wood Community College! Gardener’s Palette will be held on Saturday March 2, 2013 from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm at John Wood Community College in Quincy, IL. The gardening workshop offers an exciting variety of horticultural and gardening breakout sessions for any gardener. Come join us and get prepared for the gardening season!
The $40 registration fee for Gardener’s Palette includes your choice of five breakout sessions, coffee/tea/morning cookies, buffet style lunch, access to the vendor fair with the latest Lawn and Garden Products, and materials for most of the breakout sessions.
This year’s breakout sessions include: plants for the shade, gardening and aging, water management, seed saving, small fruits, annuals, What’s Your Gardening IQ (interactive session), new uses of vegetables in the kitchen, diversifying the landscape, beneficial insects, trees, container gardening, and small space vegetable gardening.
