PIKE COUNTY, MO. -- A Laddonia couple died in a two-vehicle crash Sunday in Pike County, Missouri.
Nancy Stafford and her husband William were hit by a semi driven by a Baton Rouge, Louisiana man.
Ibrahim Bourakba was driving on U.S. 54 near Route U when he swerved to avoid striking another vehicle.
He crossed the center line of the highway into the westbound lanes and struck the Staffords' vehicle on the left side.
The Staffords were pronounced dead at the scene.
Bourakba suffered moderate injuries and was flown to Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur.
No charges have been filed in the crash.
