Snow may have played role in accident

COATSBURG, ILL. -- Snowy roads are being blamed for a two vehicle accident Tuesday evening on Highway 24.

A car headed eastbound on Highway 24 lost control due to road conditions and crossed the center line.

That car was then hit by a pick-up headed westbound.

The driver of the car was taken to Blessing Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the pick-up was not injured.
