In 1954, Tommy and Lucille Day set out to create a new kind of donut mix — one with a distinctively light texture and flavor. The Day’s light donut recipe became Daylight Donuts. Over the years, their Tulsa-based enterprise grew into a worldwide network of independently owned retail outlets numbering 900 strong… and growing. Jim and Babs Lock opened the Quincy Daylight Donuts on 24th and Broadway in 2004. In 2010, they opened a second location at 48th and Broadway. Daylight Donuts has become a tradition in the Tri-State area.
