When you stop in Gifts by Grawe, you are going to experience a different gift shop than most. First you notice that we are located in a historic brick house. It was built as the caretaker's house for Graceland Cemetery located a block east. So when you enter the store, you see home décor displayed in actual rooms of a house instead of big box store shelves. The next thing you will notice is the helpful and friendly staff. We will greet you and be there to assist you. Whether just browsing or looking for something special, we welcome you to take your time and find just the right gift for your friends, family, or yourself!
We strive to have a wide range of gifts for every occasion and price range. Betty Nielsen, Founder and co-owner Betty started Gifts by Grawe by making and selling crafts from her home in 1992. Betty is a Quincy native and has lived here most of her life. Business runs in her blood as both her great-grandfather and father were Quincy businessmen, and also had their businesses located on Maine Street. Pam Todd Pam is a retired Quincy public school teacher. She has training as a floral designer. Pam is very detailed-oriented and makes sure everything is done right for our customers. Pam is also a native of Quincy. Mary McCulloch Mary enjoys helping customers find just the right gift for their needs. Mary has owned her own store and is always making sure the store looks great. Karin Koontz Karin is retired from Gardner-Denver. She enjoys home decorating and floral design. Betty and Karins' mothers were friends for many years. Matt Nielsen Matt is our newest employee. He does deliveries, computer updates, photography, and other duties.
Question What is Luxcraft outdoor furniture? Answer Luxcraft poly outdoor furniture is made out of recycled milk jugs which is maintenance free, weather proof, and comfortable. Handcrafted by Amish in Illinois and Ohio, the high quality furniture comes in many colors and styles. Items can be custom ordered or buy from our inventory. Answer Yes, we deliver in Quincy for all purchases of $20 or more. Memorials can be delivered to the local funeral homes, get well gifts to the hospital, as well as to any address in Quincy. Delivery to towns outside of Quincy can be arranged for an additional charge. Question What does your store sell?
