A man accused of robbing a Quincy bank and numerous others in Illinois and Missouri is scheduled to appear in a Florida court next week.
Willie Franklin is accused of robbing backs throughout the Midwest. This includes the Dec. 26 robbery at the First Mid-Illinois Bank and Trust on Broadway in Quincy.
Adams County State's Attorney Jon Barnard expects Franklin will be extaidicted to the U.S. District Court Middle District of Illinois and will face charges in either the Springfield or Peoria branch of the court.
