QUINCY, ILL. -- A man accused of shooting up a Liberty motorcycle club was in court Thursday.

Michaelangelo Gomez appeared in an Adams County Court where his hearing date was moved to March 28.

Gomez is charged with two counts of aggravated battery and one count each of aggravated discharge of a firearm and aggravated use of a blackjack.

The 41-year-old was arrested in the Oct. 27 shooting at the Midwest Percenters Clubhouse on Main Street in Liberty.

Robert Morrell of Hannibal and Timothy Jackson of Roodhouse were struck, investigators have said. Both were released from the hospital shortly after the shooting.

The jury trial for Gomez is scheduled to begin on June 10.
