HEART ATTACK
SIGNS/SYMPTOMS

SIGNS/SYMPTOMS INCLUDE:

Chest pain or pressure, heaviness, tightness, aching or fullness
Shortness of breath-especially at rest
Sweating and dizziness
Nausea or vomiting
Pain in n the left or right arm

NOTE: Women may not have these symptoms in the same way as men. Women report less intense pain and more sweating, nausea, vomiting or shortness of breath

WHEN SYMPTOMS OCCUR
Stop all activity
Sit down
Rest and try to relax
If you do not have nitro-call 911 or go to the nearest emergency center
If you do have nitro - take as directed by your physician. If the signs/symptoms have not stopped-call 911 immediately
Do not drive yourself to the emergency center
