Mariann Barnard, Director of Operations Mariann Barnard is Town & Country Inn and Suites Director of Operations. She is responsible for outside sales, community relations and events, and marketing. Barnard has been in the hotel industry for 17 years in the Quincy and Chicago land areas. She is a member of the ISAE, ASAE, Hotel/Motel Association and president of the Hotel Association. She has a Master’s degree in instructional design and technology from Western Illinois University. Dave Griffin, Conference Manager David Griffin, Conference Manager, is in charge of booking and planning all conferences, weddings and special events at the hotel. Mr. Griffin is a graduate of West Texas State University and has 10 years in the hotel/hospitality industry and 25 years in social services. Geoff Lee, Assistant General Manager Geof Lee is the Assistant General Manager. He is also in charge of Information Technologies, responsible for all on-line reservations and working directly with travel and booking agents. He is a graduate of Western Illinois University and has extensive experience in the hotel industry, working in a wide variety of capacities for the last 10 years. Terri Kemner, Front Office Manager Terri Kemner is the Front Desk Manager. She is responsible for all individual and group reservations, oversees guest services, front desk staffing and training, and handles guest arrivals and departures. Terri has over 28 years of experience in customer service, with 13 specifically in the hotel industry. Dax Fohey, General Manager Dax Fohey, General Manager, oversees the day to day operation of the hotel, as well as budgeting, forecasting, staffing and community relations. He has 14 years in the hotel industry and is a board member of the Convention and Visitors Bureau. Mr. Fohey earned his bachelors degree in hotel and restaurant management from Central Missouri State University.
