Official Sweepstakes Rules

The following rules represent the material terms and conditions of the above named contest. By entering, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these contest rules.

1. HOW TO ENTER OR PARTICIPATE
     a) No Purchase is necessary. 
     b) This contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
     c) THIS IS AN ON-LINE ENTRY CONTEST ONLY.
     d) Log on to  http://www.connecttristates.com/justletitring/ and complete the entry form. 
     e) No phone calls please.

2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS  
     a) This contest is open to residents of the KHQA Designated Market Area (DMA) which includes parts of the counties of Henderson, Hancock, McDonough, Adams, Brown, Schuyler, Cass, Pike, Scott and Morgan in Illinois; parts of the counties of Scotland, Clark, Knox, Lewis, Macon, Shelby, Marion, Monroe, Ralls, Pike in Missouri ; and, parts of the counties of Van Buren and Lee in Iowa.
     b) Entrants must be 16 years or older and have a valid Drivers License issued by State of residence.  (Entrants under the age of 18 will be required to have a parent or legal guardian available to co-sign the Winners contract in order to accept the prize).
     c) Employees of Barrington Broadcasting LLC,  participating sponsor(s), their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, suppliers and their advertising and production agencies (collectively, "the Sponsor(s)")  and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouse) and households of each such employee are not eligible to participate or win a prize.
     d) All entrants must accept and honor their Pledge to the campaign to “Just Let It Ring” and read the Official Sweepstakes Rules in order to remain eligible to win.

3. ENTRY DEADLINE DATES 
     a) To be eligible, all online entries must be submitted from 12 a.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2012 up through 5 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2013.

4. CONTEST PRIZE DISCRIPTION(S) AND ESTIMATED VALUATION(S)
     a) The prize package includes a Chevy Spark, valued by Shottenkirk Chevy of Quincy (MSRP sticker) at approximately $12,245.
     b) The winner is solely responsible for any and all taxes, title & license fees associated with accepting the prize package.
     c) Prize may be exchanged for any prize at equal or lesser value with the express consent/agreement of Shottenkirk Chevy of Quincy as Sponsor and is the winner’s responsibility.
     d) The grand prize is the Chevy Spark, however, the sponsor(s) may choose to add other prizes to be awarded as consolation prizes to finalists, at the discretion of KHQA and are yet to be determined.
     e) Sponsor(s) make no warranties and disclaim all warranties, guarantees, or representations, express or implied, concerning the condition, quality, or merchantability, or any prize.

5. SELECTION OF WINNER(S)
     a) On Friday, April 19, 2013, there will be 77 finalists selected at random from all valid online entry forms.
     b) Each finalist will be notified by KHQA of their selection on Monday, April 22, 2013 in KHQA This Morning, KHQA News at Five, KHQA News at Six and KHQA News at Ten and using the contact information provided by the entrant on the entry form. In order to continue to be eligible, the finalists must call KHQA at 217-222-6200 and qualify by Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 5 p.m.
     c) On Friday, April 26, 2013, seven qualifiers will be chosen at random from the 77 qualified finalists. The seven people selected will each receive a car key at random. One of the seven keys given at random will start the Chevy Spark and that keyholder wins said Chevy Spark.
     d) Must be present to win. Iowa residents may make arrangements for a KHQA representative to stand in for them if necessary.

6. OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
     a) Entries must be complete and legible in order to qualify.  Entries will be void if they are in whole or in part incomplete, illegible, irregular or otherwise questionable at the discretion of the Sponsor(s).
     b) Only one entry per email address will be accepted, and multiple entries will be disqualified. 
     c) All entries become the property of the Sponsor(s), who reserve the right to use any or all information submitted by entrants for the Sponsor’s marketing or promotional purposes, unless the entrant chooses to opt out. The entries will not be sold by Sponsor(s) to any other party for any other purpose.
     d) Winner agrees to the use of his/her name and likeness, without any compensation, by sponsor(s) for publicity.  By entering this contest, the winner acknowledges that KHQA, and all other sponsor(s) and venues have the right to publicize his/her name, voice and likeness, the fact that he/she won, and all matters incidental thereto.
     e) Winner will be required to sign a winner’s contract accepting sole responsibility for all motor vehicle sales taxes, title and license fees. In addition, winner will need to provide picture identification and Social Security Number, to be issued an IRS Form1099 for this prize, used for reporting winnings to the Internal Revenue Service. Winner is solely responsible for any and all local, state and federal income taxes incurred by his/her/their participation in the contest.
     f) Winner(s) accept sole responsibility for claiming the prize and picking it up from the Sponsor(s). Prizes unclaimed within 30 days of award shall be forfeited, and KHQA shall have no further obligation to the winner(s). If the prize is forfeited, KHQA reserves the right to select an alternative winner of the prize.
     g) By entering this contest, participants agree that Sponsor(s), their employees, and their agents have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind which result from use of the prize, or by participation in the contest.  Sponsor(s) make no warranties and disclaim all warranties, guarantees, or representations, express or implied, concerning the condition, quality, or merchantability, or any prize.  Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.  No substitutions are permitted.  Notwithstanding the foregoing, Shottenkirk Kia of Quincy  may, upon request from winner and in Shottenkirk Kia of Quincy’s sole discretion, agree to substitute a different prize of equal or lesser value.
     h) In the event of a dispute, all decisions made by KHQA are final and binding.
     i) Contest Rules are subject to modification by KHQA at any time during this promotion. Station/Sponsor(s) reserve the right to change the prize if necessary. 
     j) Sponsor(s) further reserves the right, in its/their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate or modify this promotion if, for any reason, the promotion is not capable of completion as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, technical corruption, force majeure or non-authorized human intervention that compromises or affects the administration, fairness, integrity, security or proper conduct of the promotion.
     k) Sponsor(s) further reserve the right to continue with the promotion and award the prize(s) even while, in its/their sole discretion, the Sponsor(s) disqualifies any entrant that, in the judgment of the Sponsor(s), has tampered with any entry, caused or contributed to causing any technical corruption in an attempt to compromise the integrity of the promotion.
     l) Odds of winning are dependant on the number of eligible entries received.
     m) This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. You are providing your information to KHQA and not to Facebook.
