25 people show up to volunteer for Quincy Fire Department

QUINCY, ILL. -- About 25 people showed up Wednesday night wanting to help Quincy firefighters.

The Quincy Herald Whig reports these people are considering becoming volunteers to help firefighters at the scene of fires.

They wouldn't fight the fires, but help firefighters cool off or warm up and get refreshed.
