QUINCY, ILL. -- Three people are in jail this morning after turning their motel rooms into meth labs.

Officials with the West Central Illinois Task Force served two search warrants at the Days Inn Tuesday night.

That's when they found three homeless suspects in the process of concocting shake and bake meth.  They arrested 47 year-old Yevette Y. Gholston, 36 year-old Daniel G. Johnston-Brown, and 35 year-old Kenneth Newland.

All three face charges of aggravated participation in the production of Methamphetamine, unlawful possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials, and unlawful possession of methamphetamine . were

All three subjects were transported to the Adams County Jail and remain in lieu of bond.
