KNOX COUNTY, MO. -- A former Knox County, Missouri Sheriff's deputy may find himself in prison later this year.

Howard Smith of Edina pleaded guilty to three felony charges including theft and resisting arrest during a hearing Friday in Knox County Circuit Court.

He admitted to taking items from the Knox County Sheriff's Office to sell on eBay for cash.

One of those items was a police issued radio valued at more than $500.

He's currently free on bond.

A judge will sentence him later this spring.
