Trades, Labor & Machinists Lodge 822

(Quincy, Ill.) It was a full house for the Trades, Labor and Machinists Union annual Labor Day Picnic in Quincy.

Union members, current and retired, brought their families together to celebrate the holiday at the Machinists Lodge 822 on North 5th.

About 1,000 people showed up, which is around the average number.

There were games and rides for the kids and plenty of food for everybody.

This year families were asked to bring can food items that would be donated to the local food pantry.

Raffle tickets were also being sold, the proceeds from the tickets will be given to Camp Callahan.
