The following is a news release from the Adams County Sheriff's Department:
Jason Bradley, age 37 Quincy, Ill. was arrested for unlawful possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver 15-100 grams, resisting a peace officer, Missouri parole violation warrant for possession/manufacture of methamphetamine.
On July 29th, 2010 at 12:55 p.m. the Adams County Sheriff's Office went to a downtown Quincy motel room to arrest Jason Bradley on a State of Missouri parole violation warrant for manufacture/posssession of a controlled substance.
Officers went to the room and upon contact Bradley ran on foot from officers. Bradley ran to Edgewater Park at Front Street and Jersey Street where he jumped a fence and dove into the river. After about an hour of searching the flooded river bank, Bradley was located hiding under some brush in the water. Bradley was arrested without further incident and transported by boat to Front Street and Hampshire Street.
Bradley was transported to Blessing Hospital by ambulance for treatment of injuries he received when he jumped into the river.
The Sheriff's Office utilized a Jon boat and a K-9 during the search. A search of Bradley's motel room resulted in the seizure of a large amount of methamphetamine that was packaged for delivery.
After medical treatment Bradley will be lodged in the Adams County Jail without bond for the Missouri Parole violation warrant, resisting a peace officer and unlawful possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver.
The Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Illinois State Police Meth Response Team and Quincy Police Department.

We have confirmed that a wanted man has been caught along the Quincy riverfront.
Adams County Sheriff's deputies went to the Days Inn in Quincy earlier with a Missouri arrest warrant for Jason Bradley.
He ran from the hotel, and police spent about an hour searching a wooded area between the North Side Boat Club and the ADM barge loading dock.
