Mark Twain State Park beach closed

High levels of E. coli bacteria have prompted Missouri's Department of Natural Resources to keep the beach at Mark Twain State Park closed.

DNR announced the bacteria remains too high for swimming.

The beach at Mark Twain State Park in northeastern Missouri has been closed all summer because of high water.
