KEOKUK, IOWA -- Representatives from Roquette and the union met with a federal mediator Monday.

Dozens of the 240 locked out union members continue to picket outside Roquette. They've been out of work for 41 days now.

Mayor Tom Marion says Monday's meeting is expected to last two days. Picketers told KHQA union reps are prepared to stay as long as needed to walk out with an agreement. If a contract is agreed upon, the union membership will then put it to a vote.
