ST. LOUIS, MO. -- A Camp Point student took a trip down to St. Louis this last week hoping to spread some warmth to sick children.

Fifth grader Kaylyn Orpet-Hulett was recently crowned Miss Land of Lincoln Oustanding Pre-teen. A few months back, she decided her Christmas and birthday money would be better spent on blankets instead of toys and gadgets this year, so she bought the materials and with a little help from mom created one hundred blankets.

Thursday, more than 60 kids in the NICU at St. Louis Children's Hospital received a blanket with a message attached to it, reading 'Just Believe.'
