TIMEWELL, ILL. -- The Brown County State's Attorney has announced the indictment and arrest of David Dunn, 61, of rural Timewell, Illinois on involuntary manslaughter charges.

The charges stem from the November 9, 2010 shooting death of Dunn's wife, Christine Dunn, 56, at the couple's travel trailer in rural Timewell.

Originally, it was thought that Dunn and his wife were moving guns out of their house when she was shot in the head and died.

Dunn voluntarily surrendered to Brown County Sheriff Karl Goesch late Tuesday afternoon and he's currently lodged in the Schuyler County jail.

The indictment alleges Dunn, acting in a reckless manner, discharged a .308 caliber rifle in the presence of his wife causing her death.
