QUINCY, ILL -- It's hard to believe that school is getting ready to start again!

Now's the time to remind your kids how to stay safe while they are walking to school or getting on the bus.

It's important to obey traffic signs.  When walking across the street look both ways and use the crosswalks at each intersection.

Kids should also limit distractions while waiting to cross the street or cross in front of the bus ... distractions like cell phones.

And drivers ... you need to pay attention too.

More kids will be out in residential neighborhoods and school zones.

Reduce any distraction like your cell phone or radio.  Don't forget to Just Let It Ring!
