One person dies after crashing into school bus

LAGRANGE, MO. -- One person died after his car collided with a school bus west of LaGrange Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities say the accident happened just after 2:30 p.m. about five miles west of LaGrange on Highway C.

Police say the driver of the car, Harold Urton had a medical condition and passed out due to a medical condition.

The car then ran into to the school bus.

The Lewis County C-I school bus was not carrying any children at the time of the collision.

The bus driver was not injured.

Police emphasize Urton didn't die as a result of the accident.

He passed on because of a medical condition he had during the time of the crash.
