Howery wants new judge in murder case

PIKE COUNTY, MO. -- A Springfield, Missouri man accused of killing his wife almost 20 years ago wants a new judge on his case.

Douglas Howery Senior is accused of killing his wife Betty Ann Howery who dissapeared on February 1992.

Her remains were found about 3 years ago on the couples farm in Pike County, Missouri.

A hearing on Howery's request is set for November 17th in Mexico.

If convicted Howery could get the death penalty or life in prison.
