ORIGINAL STORY

A Hannibal man accused of shooting his fiance to death just days before their scheduled wedding will go to trail in March.

The Quincy Herald Whig reports that Calvin Duane Pettey's trail has been delayed because of issues regarding evidence in the case.

Attorneys agreed Monday morning on a March 5th trial date in the case.

Pettey faces up to life in prison if he is convicted in the 2010 shooting of Sandy Fugate in her home.

He remains in the Marion County Jail on a 1 million dollar bond.

He's been there since his arrest last year.
