QUINCY, IL. -- The goal for this year's Salvation Army Toy Town was to give each child two toys.

You made the drive such a success because 1300 children will each get two brand new toys and one gently used toy!

Those who signed up for Toy Town and Christmas baskets spent most of the day picking up their goodies for Christmas Wednesday.

Distribution will also happen Thursday at the former Quincy Discount Carpet building on South 8th Street from 9 to 5 p.m.

Families receiving donated toys applied for the program through The Quincy Salvation Army.
