Three safe following electrical fire in Hannibal home

HANNIBAL, MO. -- A Hannibal family is safe after an accidental electrical fire at their home early Monday morning.

Firefighters arrived at 1514 Pleasant Street around 3:53 in the morning to find smoke in the home.

Further investigation found flames in a basement bedroom.

Firefighters quickly put out the fire.

The home took on light damage primarily contained to that bedroom area.

Three people inside the home got out with no injuries.
