QUINCY, ILL. -- More than a hundred people sat down to an afternoon tea in Quincy Sunday.

Chaddock's annual Rose Tea was held on the front lawn of its campus off 24th Street.

Each year, staff invite the Quincy community to come and learn more about what the organization does for area children and their families.

"Chaddock helps children in a variety of ways. From outpatient counseling, we have groups that provide support for schools in our area. In our residential program here on campus, we serve children from 27 different states. We have more than 40 children in our foster care program. So really, whatever a child and their family might need, we try to provide a service that can meet that need," Debbie Reed, CEO said.

Each year, Chaddock awards someone with significant influence on children with the Harry and Carlene Geisler Friend of Children Award. This year, the Quincy Noon Kiwanis Club took home the recognition.
