Man arrested for Pike County, Illinois thefts

PIKE COUNTY, ILL. -- A 26-year-old Hamburg, Illinois man is behind bars for alleged theft in Pike County, Illinois.

The Pike County Sheriff's Department arrested Aaron Herrmann, also known as "Bologna" for stealing property.

The arrest came after a deputy responded to rural Pearl Tuesday morning following a 9-1-1 call.

Deputies think Herrmann used a 1998 Green Ford Explorer when committing the crimes.

Anyone who may have seen the suspect's vehicle in the past in suspicious areas is asked to call the Pike County Sheriff's Department at (217) 285-5263.
