According to the Jacksonville Journal Courier, a Decatur funeral home has unveiled its "Remembering the Ride" memorial package.

It includes a sleek, black Harley-Davidson Electra Glide motorcycle which serves as the funeral coach, pulling a black and aluminum glass-sided and two-wheeled hearse trailer.  Click here to see the trailer.

It's being done to haul die-hard motorcyclists to 'Hog Heaven.'

Funeral home owners launched the Harley hearse option in 2009 after watching throngs of riders turn up for the annual Blessing of the Bikes service of a Harley-Davidson dealership.

Now room-temperature bike fans in the permanent horizontal position have the opportunity to rumble into the hereafter the same way they rumbled through life.

It's proved so popular the couple even hires out their services to other funeral homes throughout Central Illinois that are equally keen to give their horizontal clientele the ultimate in customer service.
