PARIS, MO. -- A motorcycle crash near Paris, Mo. Saturday sent two people to the hospital.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Leah and David Berry of Perry, Missouri were traveling eastbound on US 24 about three miles west of Paris around 9:45 p.m. That's when David reportedly lost control of his motorcycle in loose gravel, causing the motorcycle to flip. Both Leah and David were thrown from the motorcycle.

At that point, police records show Leah tried crawling along the roadway when she was struck by two separate vehicles, one driven by Benjamin Morgan, 23, of Moberly; the second by Kimberly Roberts, 42, of Moberly.

Leah was transported to University Hospital in Columbia with serious injuries. David, too, was transported to Columbia with moderate injuries.
