The Missouri Highway Patrol has released the name of a woman who died Saturday night at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Troopers identified the woman as 26-year-old Jennifer Lankford of Hazelwood, Mo.

Lankford died shortly before 8 p.m. after she and two children were swimming near a dock in dry branch cove in Morgan County and a current of electricity hit the water.

The two children swam away from the dock. The woman swam toward the dock and died.

The children were not injured.

An autopsy is planned for Monday.

This death follows that of Ashland, Mo. siblings Alexandra and Brayden Anderson on the Fourth of July near a private dock on the Gravois Arm of Lake of the Ozarks according to the Associated Press. The patrol cited an improperly grounded electrical circuit as a contributing factor in their deaths.

KRCG in Jefferson City, Mo. and the Associated Press contributed to this report.
