QUINCY, ILL. -- We're wrapping up our KHQA food drive on Monday.

We know that several churches have asked their members to bring items with them to services this weekend.

You also can take donations to the Kroc Center in Quincy and the Hannibal Salvation Army Thrift Store Saturday.

Look for collection bins at all County Market stores in Quincy and Hannibal, at both Hy-Vee stores in Quincy, at Walmart in Quincy and Hannibal, at Save A Lot in Hannibal and at Kroger in Hannibal.

Madonna House and Horizons Social Services in Quincy are on the list as well.

If you plan to see 'Oklahoma!' at the Quincy Community Theater, take your food or cash donations along - the theater has also agreed to be a drop-off site for our food drive.

Officials say right now food donations have slowed to a crawl. Meanwhile the number of people needing help has doubled from last year.

All non perishable food items are needed right now, so please join the cause!

What non-perishable food items do you normally donate? Share your thoughts below or on our Facebook page here.
