QUINCY, ILL. -- Ever wished you could "pick your price?"
The Quincy Humane Society will host a "Pick Your Price" event this Saturday at Farm & Home Supply from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
All cats ages 4 months and older will be available for adoption, with the adopter given the opportunity to name their price.
"Pick Your Price" minimum is $5.
Shelters are overrun with cats and kittens during the summer months.
Adopted animals are fixed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and come with a collar and tag, cardboard pet taxi, a small bag of food and 30 days of free pet health insurance.
