QUINCY, ILL. -- A Quincy man is behind bars Thursday morning after leading police on a foot chase through Quincy's Southwest side.

Police made a traffic stop near 8th and Jefferson.

That's when police say the driver of the vehicle, 18-year-old Leshon Wrencher took off running. Quincy Police and Adams County Sheriff's Deputies caught up with him a block later. Drugs were found in his pocket.

Now Wrencher is in the Adams County Jail on a failure to appear warrant for an aggravated battery charge. He also faces charges of resisting an officer, obstruction of justice and drug possession.
