Hospital search after 'bomb' note discovered

Police and hospital officials searched the Fort Madison Community Hospital Wednesday night after a note referencing a bomb was discovered.

The LeeComm Dispatch center received a phone call about 8 p.m. that someone discovered the note mentioning a bomb.

Hospital staff, along with police and firefighters searched the hospital as a precaution. Nothing suspicious was discovered.

The incident remains under investigation.
