MACOMB, ILL. -- A landmark in Macomb is getting national attention.

The National Park Service recently placed the Old Bailey House on Campbell Street on the National Register of Historic Places.

The historic home was built by William Bailey, the founder and first president of Union National Bank.

A plaque will be placed on the building to mark its national historic designation.

Today, the house is used for wedding receptions, parties, and other special events.

The courthouse in downtown Macomb is also on the National Register of Historic Places.
