Moberly Area Community College begins search for new president

MOBERLY, MO. -- Moberly Area Community College is losing its longtime president.

Dr. Evelyn Jorgenson will be taking over as president at Northwest Arkansas Community College in Bentonville, Arkansas. She will begin her new position on July 1 of next year. Jorgenson has lead MACC for the past 16 years.

Dr. Jorgenson has had the longest tenure at any of Missouri's 12 community colleges. Under Jorgenson's leadership, MACC has established learning centers in Kirksville, Mexico, Hannibal and Columbia.

The board of trustees will now begin a search for a new president to lead the college.
