A Hancock County judge acquitted a Hamilton man this week on a public indecency charge stemming from a July 31 arrest.

Jim E. Worrell, 58, was arrested after he was seen entering the women's restroom at Gordon Grove Park shortly before 5 p.m.

Judge Richard Gambrell acquitted Worrell of the public indecency charge.

He still faces a charge of disorderly conduct and is scheduled for a 1:30 p.m. Jan. 7 pre-trial hearing on the remaining charge.
