CLARK COUNTY, MO. -- A former Scotland County High School teacher is no longer facing felony drug charges.

According to KTVO in Kirksville, felony drug charges against Cheyenne Pinson, 30, of Wyaconda, have been dropped.

Pinson had been charged with distribution of a controlled substance and felony possession of a controlled substance.

Clark County Prosecutor John Moon tells KTVO those charges are no longer pending, however, he has reserved the right to re-file charges in the future.

Pinson's husband, Mitchell Pinson, 31, is still facing felony drug charges in both Clark and Scotland Counties.

Cheyenne Pinson was employed by the Scotland County School District as a Lifetime Learning Instructor at the time of her arrest.
