QUINCY, ILL. -- The Tri-Township Fire Department is investigating a Monday evening  house fire.

Four trucks responded to a basement fire at 1333 Maas Road.

The fire was put out quickly but not before leaving heavy fire damage in the basement of the home and heavy smoke damage on the first floor.

The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
