McDonough Co. police warn residents of break-ins

MCDONOUGH COUNTY, ILL. -- The McDonough County Sheriff's office is investigating a string of residential burglaries in the southeast portion of the county.

According to the McDonough County Voice, burglaries occurred on December 15 and January 11, within the limits of the village of Industry.

The latest two break-ins happened Sunday in Adair.

Burglars took only jewelry and money.

Officials warn residents to be on alert and notify the sheriff's department of suspicious activity.
