QUINCY, ILL. -- Some taxpayers will get a refund from Uncle Sam this year, but what to do with that refund can sometimes be a challenging decision.

That's why the Adams County United Way is offering a new program to help counsel people with financial advice to help them make sound money decisions.

The one-on-one coaching will offer tools to help people track spending, reduce debt, build savings and budget their money.

"So we're really trying to capture and that's the goal of this program year round that we provide financial coaching free of charge," United Way Financial Stability Coordinator Stephanie Erwin said.

You can call the United Way of Adams County at 222-5020 for more information or to sign up for the program.
