PIKE COUNTY, MO. -- A fire caused minor damage at Bowling Green High School Friday.

The blaze was discovered around 10 p.m. Friday in a storage area of the wood shop.

Superintendent Darin Powell credited maintenance staff and firefighters for a quick response to keep the damage at a minimum. Powell said no cause had been determined, but the fire was not suspicious.

ACT testing went on as scheduled Saturday and classes will resume as normal on Monday.
