A June 6 trial date is set for a Louisiana man accused of helping prisoners who broke out of the Pike County Missouri jail last fall.

Tordale Chatman is charged with hindering prosecution for allegedly driving three escaped prisoners from Bowling Green to Louisiana on Sept. 8.

Two of the men, Jacob Darnell and Emmanuel Chatman, have pleaded guilty and been sentenced to seven years each in prison. The third suspect, Jason Darnell, is scheduled for a jury trial April 11th.

Two other men were arrested in the jailbreak. Joseph Verive of Clarksville was sentenced earlier this week to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to escape and an unrelated domestic assault charge. William Wilkerson of St. Louis has a case review March 14.
