PALMYRA, ILL. -- It's not the Hunger Games, but a Palmyra Teenager is getting national attention for prowess with a bow and arrow.

Thirteen-year-old Cassie Hancock will be competing in the upcoming Indoor Nationals in Kentucky. She placed third just last year.

She's caught the attention of archery enthusiasts across the country, especially since she's so young ... and relatively new to the sport.

She picked up a bow five years ago for a 4-H project and never looked back. There is talk right now of possibly going pro, or changing up her style in order to compete in the Olympics.
