QUINCY, ILL. -- Two knives have been recovered, one man is in jail, the other sent to the emergency room after an early morning fight apparently got out of control in Quincy.

Just after one o'clock Monday morning, police arrested 20-year-old Joshua Gibson for aggravated domestic battery after he allegedly slashed a family member on the forearm.

Police say one knife had already been taken from Gibson earlier in the night.

The 25-year-old victim has been treated at Blessing Hospital.
