TRI-STATE AREA -- January is off to a cold and snowy start! Snow lovers were delighted as snowfall totals today ranged from an inch-and-a-half to two inches. This was a moisture-starved snow system, and yet cold air in the upper levels of the atmosphere allowed Mother Nature to make the most of fluffing up the snow into a decent, measureable tally. Scattered flurries will continue into early Saturday as temperatures trend colder than average. Snow chances will return for Monday, Monday night, and Tuesday of the new week, however, it's still a bit early in determining how much snowfall this next storm may bring to the Tri-States.
